I'm not sure he would be open to a buyout unless the terms favored what he was planning on doing with the e-waste industry. Judging by his history of companies that were related to electronic recycling, it seems this is a field that he feels strongly about and he has a goal in mind - to create something that will not only be profitable but a company that will have a long lasting positive impact on the environment. If money was his only concern, he could simply stop reinvesting now, and let the revenues becomes profits. However, he is taking everything EWSI earns, and putting it back into the company so that the company will grow exponentially. I have a feeling Martin wants EWSI to be a huge entity in the e-waste field that will positively impact and shape the field.
