Jurors can convict on nothing, AIR.  JUDGES, (hence lawyers), fix cases all the time.  They can take exculpatory evidence and throw it right out the door.  PERIOD. Law 101. JUDGES fix cases.

He's one for you.  The OJ Simpson case.  Come to find out a convicted serial killer, who picked blondes as his victims, was known to have had drinks and ?dinner with Nicole Brown Simpson.  How does that play with one's reasonable doubt?  Not to mention blood samples from OJ taken to OJ's home and the crime ?scene.  Plus a cop, Furman, gets convicted of perjury in that trial.

Here's a better way to put it.  Would you bet your life OJ killed his wife?  That's reasonable doubt.
