It's just incredulous that these guys do not seem to have pride in what they do. How can they not make money or communicate substantial information? The first set of Information on the Motion for Damages in the newsletter was a regurgitation from two weeks ago. I bet you donuts to a dollar that the court case will take years because that's how court cases go. And so, implying that it would not take 30 days but months is not saying anything people don't already know, but still too optimistic. The court case will certainly take years if not settled out of court. And so, come next year, it would not be a surprise if the case is still ongoing. I've suggested to these guys to stop being so optimistic. Just find good leases, make good deals, and produce oil and gas, and stop talking like ... (you fill the blank). I sometimes feel sad for the investor that moved to Tuscola, TX to help out (at least that's my understanding). He had such high hopes for the company but you can see the deflection just like the newsletter subscribers and opening rate seem to be vanishing. People just don't sit around too long if they feel being played. Still, I hope the aforesaid investor gets rewarded substantially from his investment.
To be clear, most investors are not dumb and sometimes TECO statements seem patronizing.
