OK, team, its Sunday and you're gonna hear about the Lord. I watched Billy Graham Classics last night and he preached about money. No where in the Bible does it say being rich is a sin. Jesus said it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Have you seriously ever thought about what He meant? Folks with a lot of money will spend most of their days thinking about how to enjoy this money and how to make more and what should I buy next. That is close to making money your god, and that's where the sin comes in. He expects us to share with the needy and poor and crippled and homeless and wounded soldiers and enjoy some for ourselves. We all need to get on our knees and ask God to give us quidance and wisdom if we become rich. I can't prove it but bet there are more rich folks in hell than poor folks. You look at all the rich folks in Hollywood with their diamonds and expensive mansions and cars and think surely God wouldn't send them to hell-they're rich and famous-think again. If God told you He would give you a thousand dollars per share for himr and you could live to be 80, but when you die, you're going to hell. would you do it? Not me. I'm Heaven bound rich or poor-Jesus has already taken care of that for me. JB
