Well, here's the thing:
Put yourself in the shoes of a potential new investor, coming to the board to investigate a possible new entry into ICPA.
All you see on the board is 2 groups viciously attacking one another, and all of the good DD is getting lost in the arguing between the 2 groups.
Now consider this: a board where longs are sharing information and supporting each other and their company, and a fringe group of 2 or 3 posters who are saying everything negative (bashing) but are getting no response, no argument. They look like a bunch of idiots trying to get their 30 seconds of fame.
When I add a board, I make a quick note of who is who, just like a lineup card. I want to know: who is long, who is flipping, who is short, who is bashing, who is pumping. Makes the information flow a lot more simplistic and saves me a lot of time from reading posts and replying to posts.
Just me, but I found out I can be a lot more profitable in my time and money (especially since I do mulitiple plays at once), and have a whole lot less headaches.
