Have to do more calculations before i can determine actual mine coverage/distance back from hwy on h11 b33 50000 scale map
believe each 1/2 of baja 14 is 550 acres for total of 1100 acres- saw that figure before- no scale is shown on this graphic-

for our purposes since I'm extrapolating from limited info as usual on the premise that investigation/trying is better than just dying as most people do/ nothing , the N 1/2 is close enough to square for our calcs
550 acres is ca 24 million sq ft -- a 5000 ft square is 25 million square ft- and there are 5280ft /per mile so close to a mile on each side but just under 5000 ft- seems small for what we've seen in the pics doesnt it?
km is .62mile x 5280 = 3274 ft so 1.53 km on each 5000 linear ft side-so now I can go to the iron survey topo maps I've been posting and measure how far back cwrn is from the hwy since as usual when dealing w close up 50000 scale maps the subject of interest straddles 2 different maps
