Here's an old RB post from BuyBio made this past January. Now we know Novamex once again is the majority shareholder of Southridge Enterprises, Inc. (SRGE) and also SRGE is now a subsidiary of Novamex Mineral SA.

Ownership of these assets is the most important issue here. The guys that sold them to Southridge are still a major shareholder as well as creditors to the Company. Insiders--officers and board members--are negotiating with Novamex to receive shares from Novamex. As long as Novamex is involved as a shareholder and the assets and the Company are controlled by the Mexicans/Novamex, there is no way in hell they will allow this to fail. Before that happened, they will move the assets elsewhere and all shareholders will go along with the Mexicans because Novamex is a shareholder. Understand?
So, Kinross contacted Southridge because they guessed it could be owners or what? How does this work?
