Community Bank of Bergen County, NJ Appoints Walter E. Loeffler to Its Board of Directors
Community Bank of Bergen County, NJ (OTCQB:CMTB) announced today the appointment of Walter E. Loeffler to its Board of Directors.
Loeffler, who has served on the Community Bank of Bergen County, NJ (CBBC) Audit Committee for the past 10 years, is president of Business Valuation Associates, Inc. and BVA Consulting. He is a certified public accountant, an accredited business valuation specialist and a certified financial forensic accountant with more than 20 years of experience.
“Walter is already a part of the CBBC family. His familiarity with the Bank along with his vast knowledge and experience in the business valuation and accounting space is a welcomed addition and nice complement to our existing Board,” said Peter A. Michelotti, President and CEO of CBBC.
Loeffler is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and is active on its Valuation and Litigation Support Resource Group, its Valuation Services Group and its Insolvency and Reorganization Committee. Loeffler is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. He is an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Loeffler graduated from Montclair State University with a B.A. in accounting education. He holds a New Jersey teaching certificate and has lectured on numerous occasions and served as an adjunct professor at Edward Williams College. Loeffler holds a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University where he graduated magna cum laude.
