MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - Jun 7, 2012) - Hi Score Corporation (PINKSHEETS: HSCO) announced today that its affiliate DMD Lighting received a six figure lighting contract commitment from its long time customer Traylor Electric of Miami. The contract consists of several orders that will supply lighting fixtures and Energy Control Systems for luxury homes that are being built on the Atlantic Coast. "I have been working with Traylor for a while on the specs for these homes...it is nice to see the projects coming to fruition," said Dominick Falso, CEO of DMD.
The company expects that this first group should be the first of a few if not many groups of luxury homes that DMD will be called upon to supply lighting for over the course of the next several months. "Things appear that they might be turning toward the good in the South Florida housing market," continued Mr. Falso. "At least in the higher end market ...which is what we concentrate on ...I would not be surprised to see these orders come to over a million dollars over the next year ...of course that is great for us but it would also be great for the community at large ...good for jobs ...good for the economy as a whole."
"Hi Score sold off DMD earlier this year but a significant amount of the profit from DMD still comes to Hi Score," said Hi Score CEO Michael Zoyes. "...so of course we are very happy to see DMD continue to do well ...plus with Dominick still being COO here at Hi Score we all feel very comfortable that he will continue to operate DMD with HI Score in mind ...it's a win win ...we are all very pleased."
Dominick Falso was appointed as Hi Score's Chief Operating Officer in January of last year. Mr. Falso was brought on to bolster the company's lagging gross sales volume. His efforts began to be fruitful toward the end of last year and the first quarter of this year. The company has a lot of confidence in Mr. Falso's ability to continue to move the company forward by identifying, advancing toward and obtaining profitable jobs for the company
