BURNABY, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Viscount Systems (VSYS), a leading-edge supplier of security systems and software, announced that it has been awarded contracts to deploy its Freedom access control technology at a series of Midwestern US Government agency facilities in Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota. Due to the sensitive nature of these types of contracts, the company is unable to identify the agency.

Freedom Encryption Bridge is the first and only access control system that allows entry devices (ID cards, RFID readers, biometrics etc.) to be connected to, and controlled by, standard building IT networks without requiring expensive control panels. Freedom also utilizes existing IT permission databases (Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP) to replace the software component of traditional systems.
