Mosaic Minerals Corporation Shares Latest Exploration News
Exciting Updates from Mosaic Minerals Corporation
Mosaic Minerals Corporation (CSE: MOC) is thrilled to announce recent developments that are shaping the course of our exploration efforts. We take this moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to our shareholders, partners, and suppliers for their ongoing support throughout the year. As we approach the festive season, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year.
Exploration Results from Mirabelli and Maqua Properties
This year has seen some significant activities in our exploration campaigns, particularly at the Mirabelli SM and Maqua SM properties. After receiving the final results from our summer and fall exploration efforts, we have determined that the metals and minerals we initially sought did not reveal the anticipated grades. As a result, our management team has decided to cease further exploration on these properties.
Furthermore, we are shifting our strategic focus. We will no longer pursue lithium exploration and will devote our energies to unearthing gold potential, with a particular eye on the Amanda project, which is now fully owned by Mosaic. This project boasts several promising gold showings that we believe can advance our objectives in the gold exploration field.
Regaining Control Over Lichen and 113 North Projects
In an exciting turn of events, we have received formal notifications from Castlebar Capital Corporation and Panther Minerals Inc. regarding their decisions to abandon their option agreements to acquire our Lichen and 113 North properties, respectively. With this news, Mosaic is reclaiming full control over these significant assets.
The Lichen property features 282 claims, encompassing an impressive area of 15,622 hectares located approximately 100 kilometers west of the renowned Chibougamau mining camp. This rich geological setting is characterized by volcanic rocks from the Obatogamau Formation, offering strategic proximity to two known gold-bearing volcanic belts. The Nelligan and Monster Lake gold projects can be found adjacent to this promising geological landscape.
On the other hand, the 113 North property is situated in the southeastern area of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. It consists of 59 cells spanning a total of 3,010 hectares. This region is distinguished by a band of volcano-sedimentary rocks featuring a diverse composition, including felsic, intermediate, and mafic elements. The presence of iron formations, alongside notable discoveries of gold, copper, nickel, platinum, and palladium, adds further value to the exploration potential in this area.
Mosaic's Vision and Future Outlook
Our strategic pivot towards gold exploration is underpinned by our commitment to navigating the promising minerals landscape in Quebec. With the challenges posed by the current market, we are confident that focusing on gold will position Mosaic Minerals Corporation strategically for future growth.
The scientific and technical information outlined in this update has been thoroughly reviewed and approved by our Vice-President of Exploration, Gilles Laverdière, P.Geo, ensuring compliance with the regulations governing mining industry practices.
