Great you found the Placer Mine(s) Water Well!!!
Some folks were not sure whether or not our mining site is enjoying an abundant supply of water.... and they finally found the answer to their own questions !
WATER WELL REGISTRATION: 8" CASE ON-SITE (Northstar Drilling Co.)
Reg No. GWSI Site ID Cadastral Owner Name Well Type Well Depth (ft) Casing Depth (ft) Case Dia (in) Drill Date Application Date Water Level Pump Capacity (GPM) Pump Data Available Completion Report Log Received UTM X (meters) UTM Y (meters)
FALSE 800161 B19021010DCC KUNKEL,C W EXEMPT 1100.00 1100.00 6.00 1/1/1975 11/19/1982 600.00 8.00 NO 180724.00 3883230.00
Anyhow, the photo below is the picture that the "Brady Bunch" was having trouble figuring out what it was... that well is 1,100 feet deep with water at only 400 ft.... so a 500 ft deep pump would provide more water than we would EVER need to fill settling ponds for a full-scale mining plant. Plus we have two more wells on the 6000+/- acres ...just in case we need another 200 gal / min. Or as our main wells...
...... either way... Glad you guys found the water! (We already tested the well for viability! It's perfect!!!) Sa-Weet huh?
BTW: An 8" pipe can carry over 900 gal/min of water flow. http://flexpvc.com/WaterFlowBasedOnPipeSize.shtml
That clearly puts the NO WATER in the desert rumor to bed:
I'm glad the folks who were saying we couldn't gold mine because we could never get water in the "Desert" are all going back and retracting their previous statements! Ummm...aren't they - well they should be - no pun intended on the "well" they should be thing!
Let's go get the GOLD SHAREHOLDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
