New Here and saw the map. Can I assume those are 40 acre parcels? ~ Jo.Shoo
No, the sections represented on the map below EACH represent 640 Acres (U.S. Gov't surveyed Sections).
It's sheer size makes it a MEGA-MINE compared to any "Small mine claim" which would generally consist of 20 acres Minimum and Maximum of around 200 Acres. When we speak of its size we generally just say we are JV on a 6000 +/- acres property.
I agree, the aerial photo does make them look smaller than they really are but when you begin physically driving around the claims (ground level) the vastness of the property is quickly realized.
