Apple hits new highs to lead tech action
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Most leading tech stocks advanced Friday, with Apple Inc. among the gainers as reports about what the company has in store for its next slate of releases briefly sent its shares to an all-time high.

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) climbed to $644.06 to surpass the $664-a-share mark its stock hit in April.

Apple’s stock has also risen 12% since a selloff in July that was sparked by disappointment with the company’s earnings report.
