1st to market philosophy, (from my pov).  If one can keep possible competition silent until some entrenchment has taken place then tactical advantage.  If it was just the tech information concerning vid compression, then no problem about word out.  DUTV is also doing their own channel and has a focus on targeting advertisements..........that's competitive business.......AD $$$.  I can see where one would want a lead,......older people are less inclined to make changes once established.
