Companys can lease or sell the licenses, I would rather purchase concurrent licenses. For instance, DUTV could sell 100,000 to say Amazon, Amazon would then control 100,000 concurrent licenses and could have 100,000 users online watching IPTV at one time. If the 100001 user logged on to use it, they would be denied until a license is recovered when another user logs off. This way the IPTV provider does not need to lease them monthly, they purchase them for say around $40.00 each and use them until the next Codec or technolgy is unveiled. Much easier to control your licenses and users this way.
