It doesn’t make any sense to shoot a messenger, if they are just a messenger.

I'm afraid I don't follow...  Who is a "messenger", what is the message and who is it from?  Are there posters here speaking on behalf of the company when they threaten others with lawsuits?  That would be... well... odd.

If they don't speak for the company then why are such posts allowed again?
