Keep in mind that Baltia is NOT in control of the process - the FAA is, because the ball is in THEIR court. Let's not be too hard on Baltia at a point when the ball is not in Baltia's court. Making predictions of when a manager at the FAA Long Island FSDO is going to do something based upon inuendo from someone who is NOT in control, is dangerous - it sets you up for disappointment if the FAA does not know about your schedule, and does what it often does - makes decisions on the FAA's schedule (or lack thereof).
Over the years, I have set myself up for disappointment many times with them - and, then again, I have occasionally been pleasantly surprised.
Every one of us is is used to making decisions - being in control - and when we are NOT in control it is frustrating, especially when time drags on. Think how frustrating it must be for devoted Baltia managers with wives and kids at home wondering when dad is going to start bringing home a complete paycheck and medical insurance - - -
