I'd like to know if this is vuggy limestone, old reef rock, or a "fracture" (really?). And, how thick this formation is. Could be our oil is on the other side. That's something to think about. A formation that sucks up mud doesn't seem a very hospital place for oil unless it is at the bottom of the formation. This is limestone not sandstone, so we could chemically splash (and pound) our way through it or create a cavern (at the bottom)and suck the oil out (a true pool of oil) if the formation actually possesses oil. Does anybody know if any hydrocarbons are coming out with the wash water? Oiljob
