Hate to partially bust up the party but that dig site has been there for quite some time. The mine has yet to be updated. I believe that area was part of the vein that was "covered back up" because the iron content wasnt quite good enough, or as good, as the other vein. Bob did mention a vein being covered it up in one of his paragraph size emails. I feel like I remember it being the picture that was/is on IHUB showing the ripper and smaller excavators working on the really dark line.
