Your thoughts of having someone go to the court and see if the docket is on record is a great idea. It would be disappointing, at a minimum for a error on someone's part to be an issue. And having the summons end up in another country would be a problem.

I am in on any action against the perpetrators. Need extra  time do to my location if I need to supply any type of documentation, signatures, etc...
