IMO if something posted crosses the line of LIBEL, there is no justifiable "protection" because LIBEL does not deserve to be "free speech" (goes for SLANDER in verbal media like youtube).

There is a danger of blurring the line if laws are not clear, but considering HOW LAX things are now, there is a wide swath between CURRENT GUIDELINES and infringing on free speech rights.

I doubt the gap gets closed (and then some) in one effort by lawmakers.
