Companies that have a lot of money didn't make or keep that money by making bad decisions. Why would anyone pay a premium or even market for JBI? It would be far cheaper to start from scratch without having to worry about patent protection if convinced that the P2O process was viable. Bordy would jump at the chance to sell the entire company for less than a dime or so per share.
A buyout at a premium or even at market ain't gonna happen.
