I do appreciate your warning too about what may happen with gold reserves in the Mediterranean countries within Europe. To me it is amazing that Germany will have to wait for years to retrieve part of the Bundesbank's gold reserves from the Federal Reserve. In the case of Spain and Italy, the selling of gold reserves could become a temptation due to the need to reduce their respective national debt. As I am resident in Tuscany, and closely follow events in Spain, too, that is no problem.
