So you are basically saying the scientist at the RI-DEM are incompetent .
Since after a two year review of the science and it's so called dangers RI-DEM intended to approve the project at the location selected.
The project was rejected not because of the project itself, that was made perfectly clear by RI-DEM letter of "intent to approve' but because of a law that did not exist during the whole application process.
As all issues brought up by citizens in the public hearing should have would have been addresses\d and satisfied before sending a letter of "intent to approve".
If you truly feel that way and as a tax payer of RI I am surprised you haven't demanded that the entire RI-DEM be replaced for their incompetency in this matter because without that new last minute law the project would be operational today.
