Could the BBB issue with Leronlimab and Mice simply have something to do with the fact that Leronlimab will stop the inflammation very quickly and therefore the leaking of Leronlimab would dissipate relatively early in the treatment. Perhaps human BBB would still allow Leronlimab passage even when there is little to no inflammation, but due to the mouse biology, we won't see BBB passage. Perhaps they should simply compare what Leronlimab does in healthy versus targeted candidates and see if they become relatively the same rate after some period of time. If the unhealthy mice show leakage early then a reduction over time and the healthy mice don't show leakage, then you can rule out the mice as a good candidate for a long term study for the treating of the targeted disease in the brain. Also, you can simply do a study on healthy mice to see if there is any BBB leakage. Perhaps this was already done with Leronlimab???
