That patient is still very much alive and continuing to fight. Last update was 6 days ago... seems he just finished a round of chemo and recovering from that.

He was hospitalized for 4 days in Nov with pneumonia and had a blood clot in the saddle of his lungs, but he made it through and has been back home since.

Considering just how big the guy's brain tumor was in the summer, it's remarkable to see him still enjoying time with his family.
