The thing that amazes me is the lack of scientific curiosity. If you had the potential to unlock a drug that could change medicine, wouldn’t you be really curious in your mundane Federal Government approval job.

Remember the big scientific uproar about cold fusion years back. If LL does one tenth of what’s on the list, where is the NIH curiosity. Or is the system that screwed up that we all left drugs that don’t work whose side effects are worse than the disease but whose packaging is amazing.
