Forgot to mention I was trying through my Fidelity account.

Just got off the phone with Fidelity. They had to place the order for me manually and it went through. They don't know why, but they claimed to have a "glitch" where no-one can buy VERB through their website, phone app, or Trader Pro app. Just happened today. They did mention that one could still place sell orders for VERB using the above options, but no-one could place buy orders unless they called them in. It's a coincidence that there are no shares available to short at the moment as well. Hmmm..
