This decision holds that a federal agency's interpretation of ambiguities or omissions in federal statutory language will no longer be accorded deference by a reviewing court. The decision makes clear that the agency's interpretation should be the starting point for the court's review and that the court should consider the strength of the record generated by the agency in support of its interpretation.
Fairly recently we keep seeing very unreasonable decisions by the courts including the Supreme Court in service to corporations or political entities. Do you think that won't continue or that the wording of statues regarding the FDA can't be found to be ambiguous?
