I subscribe to the idea that Murray was likely corrupt AF and/or a lazy bureaucrat.
However... if you asked me for one possible innocent interpretation of that quote could he be suggesting that -- during the worst days of Covid -- just shutting Cytodyn down with an RTF gave them more time to focus on other drugs and treatments?
Remember, despite Jay's argument otherwise, Murray et al thought Cytodyn was a two-bit penny stock with a crappy CEO and a worthless drug. He was 10,000% wrong, as we all know, but maybe that's what his quote meant? Am I being too generous?
