I don't want us to inhabit China...just to beat them at their own game. Musk built the template...with cheap labor...Now they are going to eat his lunch...and are eyeballing everything else...the larger problem with Authorityism is Authority...still a pond...always bigger fish.
Our reliance on outside labor to furnish us with the material things in life... has been our undoing for decades. My old man was the president of a construction labor union and he pushed for higher wages and benefits. Those times were different...life was simpler. Technology and visionaries were yet to come.
