the darkest part of this revelation is that the FDA refused a very long list of EUA potential drugs. a long list. they obviously held out for as long as they could for the BPs to come up with a money grabber, ONLY vaccines, and ignoring all kinds of possible remedies to save lives. a lot were risky drugs with side effects. some were fish tank cleaners that a certain president was promoting at one point.

some were not risky at all, and were as safe as water. some were super safe simple peptides that the FDA had forbade local compounding pharmacies to stop producing years ago, because goddammit they were too cheap and easy to make, and a pharma has got to be making money goddammit. goddammit!!

of course our story hurts the most because the safety profile was well established, "anecdotal" evidence was clear, there was marginal supply in hand, and samsung was ramping up plenty more. more evidence will come to light on the FDAs insane abuse of power and BP protectionism, we all know this.

but the bigger story is that the FDA completely sat on their hands, and only gave a handful of EUAs, and only a few BP approvals when there were multiple options to put out the fire. they clearly did not want to put out any fire at all.

and i know of at least 10 people in my circle that got burned. to death.
