Thanks to all for your help.
I will get this information to her--she too is on year 3 and has been on misc trial drugs/treatments but it looks those have come to an end and they have nothing else to offer her--hence the 1 yr left.
She has gained hope and lost hope with all of the trials that she has been on. It is a tough subject to talk to her about but I think it is worth a shot.
