Given this cold shoulder from the FDA, why did we even pursue doing trials for Covid? why do the brazil trial? they knew from the start it will go nowhere with the FDA. I guess Nader thought that if they did the trials they would prove the MOA to the FDA but all they did was do poorly managed trials that further killed the chances of any approval in Covid. This almost impossible venture should have never happened. Nader should have looked at the situation and not waste valuable funds and time on it. we could have gotten further in other indications with studies to prove mech of action to the FDA from the start. Nader was being very risky with our investment, it is one thing to have strong confidence in the drug and another to know the likelihood of getting through the FDA. there would never been a clinical hold if we simply did not pursue Covid. it is a shame, but i think it is obvious it was never going to happen.
