I took up earlier suggestions and wrote a respectful email to IR, Tanya Urbach, Anthony and Cyrus. I don’t expect a response but it has prompted me to ponder why the office in Vancouver appears to be hermetically sealed. One theory to explain the paucity of communication: There is a buyout offer on two conditions:
1) FDA hold gets lifted
2) To borrow a line from Sergeant Schultz of Hogan’s Heroes: "I see nothing! I hear nothing! I know nothing!"
This satisfies BP’s shareholders there is a promising therapeutic with no FDA blemish and keeps the C-Suite happy the share price does not escalate coincidental to their offer.
Someone posit an alternate thesis that fits our situation. This is not a company headed for BK…Leronlimab has platinum/palladium grade value and could be sold…there is an abundance of clinical data to support that. Further, remember the principals at Cytodyn are also invested in success…they have shares too. Welch also has 15 million reasons to stand in the gap as needed. I’ve run a small business and know you do anything to make magic happen; I don’t picture Anthony, Cyrus and others under their desk in Vancouver popping Prozac…they are trying to push this to success…their efforts unfortunately are oblique to us and to re-state, you have to ask why.
Silence speaks volumes, I’ll wait for clarity.
