I don't think you have it quite right, if I understand what you're saying. Tonya was not brought in to defend the charges against NP. That would make no sense. If NP harmed the company (clearly he did), why would the company attorney defend him? LOL. That's backwards.
I don't think we'll get a CEO that quickly, because it needs to be a very specific kind of person with very specific skills, and that person is probably not sitting on the couch at home right now, waiting for the phone to ring as he/she/they are most likely working somewhere. I foresee a hire from another company, someone who wants to try to make their bones at the top with a company that isn't going to hurt their resume if it doesn't work but can make their resume if it does.
