I did a very fast read through of the preclinical study for AOH1996 which targets PCNA(https://www.cell.com/cell-chemical-biology/pd...23)00221-0 ). The study showed a reduction in tumor growth in xenograft mice and an equal effect in survival as CPT-11 a topoisomerase I inhibitor. When CPT-11 was combined with AOH1996 survival improved.
Interestingly CCR5 blockade is already on the leronlimab regulator list and it reduces the amount of PCNA amongst all the other wonderful things it does.
ps. The article you linked was overblown hype. "Scientists have developed what may be a “holy grail” molecule that eradicates all solid cancer tumors while leaving other cells unaffected." The actual study shows a reduction but not an eradication.
