Rented electric big tire beach bikes when in Port Aransas last year and they are awesome. It’s like riding a bike… ya never forget how. Only issue is you can go a whole bunch faster if you up grade to a throttle switch and not just pedal assist. I guess there is 3 classes and here locally they don’t let you on bike paths if you are the fast electric bike. It’s kind of a purist bike group controlling who gets to use bike trails. Probably right wing commie fascists trying to control and set rules even for bike trails. God doesn’t want you to go up hills that fast or something like that. lol
