Form 144 is good for 3 months. He may just be doing housekeeping in the event some very good news occurs and he wants to dump a little into strength on the upswing.
I can't find any information on the requirements for the "Approximate date of sale" but it doesn't look to have any real implication. The more important date is when the form 144 is filed as that starts the 3 month clock.
I'm not sure at what point he would no longer be required to file a Form 144 in advance of any sales (i.e. if gone for 5 years, still need to file Form 144? possibly yes).
Reminder: Cyrus was aware of the investigation into Nader & came into the situation eyes wide open - willing to stake his reputation on leading the company regardless. Perhaps, as Jake wrote, due to " the efficacy, safety, and method of action of LL over multiple indications."
