Re: Nt2innvovate #131914
I've thought about this a lot. I believe the vast majority of NP's transgressions were the result of him being: 1. over-enthusiastic, and 2. an incredibly inept manager.
In reality, his over-enthusiasm regarding the efficacy of our drug will end-up being correct - once the world knows what a great drug we have. Where he really hung himself was the over the top comments, holding up the 3-fingers, etc. He also hung himself with those stock sales - and i still don't totally understand those, and someone should have advised him better.
His ability (or lack thereof) as a manager became more painfully clear over time - he just did not have the ability to run the company in a methodical way - and when he pushed Amarex to submit data, was he trying to manipulate - or did he just not understand / in way over his head?
Anyway, not trying to defend NP so much - as I'm saying i really don't think the guy was trying to intentionally defraud investors or trying to run some type of scheme - i really think he was a true believer in this drug (for good reason) who just couldn't manage the process of getting a great drug to market - which in all fairness, is an incredibly challenging thing to do. But that's just my 2-cents.
Onward the upward - i'm super excited about the call on the 29th, and hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
