A couple of things which coincide with what others have said regarding NP.
Dr. Lalezari presented the same Covid data to physicians at the NIH saying it deserved an EUA or at least further study. Also a second trial is ongoing which shows the company believes there is a covid signal. Also, Dr. Yang is on the SAB, because he thinks leronlimab likely helps severe covid patients. So is this criminal or possibly just excessive stock promotion which may be a civil issue?
With regards to the insider trading, were the sales pre-approved? If so, the stock price in Aug 2020 after the FDA RTF letter was published was higher (5-6) than when NP sold (3-4) in April. If the sale was approved, did he make money on an incomplete BLA when he could have waited until after the RTF letter to make more, assuming Amarex would eventually be able to file a complete BLA.
Not defending NP. Just trying to clarify facts here regarding criminal guilt versus a civil misconduct issue.
