I strongly disagree with selling here (Call it Locking in Your Losses). Lots of humans do that. 100% of CYDY shareholders are in the red, said Cap'n Obvious. But you must buy or sell here? No. In strong bear markets, people sell at the lowest point (capitulation). Some are so scarred by the loss that they never get back into the market.
In the '08-'09 recession, the market lost 5-10% in single trading sessions. The entertainer Jim Cramer said, hey 10 more sessions like this and we'll all be at zero. After one of those mega-down days, I picked my kids up after a high school evening function. They climbed into the car and said, Are we going bankrupt? I was surprised they were aware but I didn't panic. I spoke in a confident reassuring tone and said, Oh no, absolutely not! We can't afford to send you kids to college anymore, but we're not going bankrupt.
That 2009 recovery was rapid and exciting, especially when some blue chip and no-brainer index picks rose so well. With Leronlimab, Cyrus, and excited advisory board scientists, I'll hope for the same for our CYDY shares. Takes courage to buy and courage to hold. Do both if you want!
