the "gain-of-function" geniuses just cant seem to help themselves. looks like no lessons are ever leaned. how was this allowed to occur amid the cloud of suspicion over the origins of covid19 in the first place? the story i heard was - the work is so insanely risky that obama banning such research on american soil motivated fauci and others to partner with wuhan labs to do this ever so important work over there on chinese soil. because they thought it was so important.

i heard on NPR yesterday that there is a very real measurable lack of trust in our institutions and leaders by the average american today. no surprise why. then to couple it with the news of boston university doing this insanely irresponsible research, again, with the same excuses that wuhan had, to learn how to combat the next pandemic. by first producing an extremely dangerous virus so it can be studied. but but but..."they did it in level 3 labs and all the precautions were made" blah blah blah

yeah i dont trust institutions or leaders either

and yeah i have long covid. not severe but its here every day.
