While I think big brands are important and show some strong evidence of Market being top of the class in the nascent western live shopping business (and they could generate some solid word of mouth then actual sales) the real proof of success to me will be the birth of new « stars » on the platform itself. Like other video/streaming services a la Twitch or youtube, where some charismatic individuals managed to create communities of tens of millions around shared passion. I am not sure it will happen, nor that it is necessary for us to be very succesful (hey, I don’t know if it’s part of the company’s strategy even) but in this day and age, I think it would be the absolute proof that « we did it »
