Nextdoor went public about a year ago. Has a market cap of +$1B but it used to be 4 times higher. Most every tech stock has taken a beating, but that will change as what is popular cycles back in. Of course those that only follow one stock have no clue about the market.
Nextdoor makes money from Sponsored Content. I nice way to say Ads.
They do make a lot of money on Ads. You wouldn't think so because they blend them in so well.
I used to love the one from Amazon where I buy $35 worth at their grocery store and I get $20 off. That must have cost Amazon a bundle and they still do a lot of advertising, but it's localized I'm sure
Verb is going to make money on Ads. I have no doubt.
Investors may want to ask themselves, what has more potential?
Nextdoor or MARKET?
Both can be used for selling things. Both have this community feel.
Nextdoor for selling is a lot like 20 years ago though. No Live Shopping either.
