I still wonder what was going on in the FDA’s brain; when you read the facts enumerated, several underscored in the letter, it screams to any reasonable person with functioning gray matter the drug works for severe/critical covid19. It still infuriates me over a million people in the US died and a large number of those could have been prevented with this drug for covid19 if the gray matter was functioning, not influenced by BP, and someone with a moral compass and compassion from FDA came forward and opened the door to the compassionate action: “EUA”. Safe, check; possibly effective, check. Are there any adults in the FDA room? We got a letter for all that effort. My blood still boils a bit over that.
