The drums have begun to beat again, some of Dr Dalton’s followers are getting excited again. Recent comments by Dr Dalton on LinkedIn, have some speculating on a buyout from Amazon. Speculation that such a buyout would give close to $2 PPS, which would satisfy some longtime shareholders, enough for them to sell all and walk away. What happened to $20 PPS and buying yachts and things?
All this time waiting and lack of information has shareholders of Univec all confused and ready to sell and walk away with 10% of what had been speculated of the PPS. 3-4 years does put things into perspective.
But logic is not on the side of some shareholders. After more than 20 years of growing his businesses and being proud to be on Black Enterprises top 100 Black Companies in America, why would he sell now when it’s all together? Why would he post “Only 8 Black owned Looking for diversity and creating wealth for all”? A buyout from Amazon defeats the purpose! Again this is all in my opinion.
Which leads me back to a question I have asked years ago? What does a successful, wealthy entrepreneur consider is wealthy? Or what does he consider as generational wealth? For shareholders of Univec. Some may think of wealthy as millions and generational wealth as 10s of millions. Some more modest thinkers would think of generational wealth as enough to pay off the bills and the house. And being able to pass that house on to your heirs, along with some cash.
The OTC is ripe with tons of get rich schemes. But when a decorated CEO with a long resume comes on stage and says “…of a public company by the name of Univec Conglomerate. UNVC is the symbol. And it’s purpose is to make a lot of people wealthy…” what are shareholders to think? What is the market to be prepared for? Only time will tell.
