To have someone of some renown...step up to the plate as CEO would be an endorsement of what they see.... that WE don't....and clearly... that would be a statement to the investment community...to consider Cytodyn as a place for their funds.
The downside is a CEO...before results from trials would be costly from the standpoint of a compensation package...as they would be able to exert more leverage...simply from a goodwill/lack of certainty... point of view. THAT package WE would have to live with for the foreseeable future.
