Wheat harvest is in full swing here in the heartland of southern Illinois. The weather is dry and hot and the farmers are having great yields. Double crop soybeans will most likely do well with the accelerated cutting. One possible hiccup could be an unending hot dry spell for the rest of summer. Would not be good. Now I’m starting to sound like a farmer.
Any way had a great Father’s Day canoeing the Merrimac river today with wife ,2 sons and their girlfriends. Cracked my first barley pop at about 9am. Life is good Shadeout
